Hello, my lovely subscribers! I have 48 hours left in Nashville. It’s difficult to put into words how peaceful it is spending time with my father and my kids under the same roof. Letting the days go by without a care in the world is what family is all about. It is a special kind of comfort I will forever long for if one day it should all disappear.
The other day, I took the kids to a vintage store in town. I spotted this little black dress hanging up and fell in love instantly. It was one of those rare moments, for me at least, when I see something and there is no doubt in my mind that I am going to buy it. I had no idea, even if it fit, I just wanted it.
Two days later, I tried it on, I waited cause I knew there was a chance it wouldn’t fit, and I wanted the fantasy of the perfect black dress for a little while longer. Sure enough, the little black dress was exactly that, too little. So, knowing I would not be wearing it for a while, unless I miraculously wake up 10 pounds lighter tomorrow, I decided to do an impromptu photoshoot. I would like to thank my son for being such a patient photographer.
I will have to get the little black dress to a tailor one of these days. Anyway, enjoy the photos and remember to tune in tomorrow for my interview with Jesika Von Rabbit at 2 pm PST.💋
