I could go on and on about how great it was to play a solo set last night at the legendary Palmer‘s bar in Minneapolis, which is sadly closing in September. The bar has been open since 1906!
Although my set was short, it was long overdue, and something happened last night. I enjoyed playing my music for a live audience. It’s not that I hated playing live before, but I always had a knot in my stomach that drove me nuts when I played. I don’t know what or who untied it, but the knot was no longer there. Instead, I felt free and happily unhinged on stage. It felt so damn good.
Anyway, as promised, here are a few pictures from last night’s show.
I want to thank Dan Michener and David Biljan for sharing these photos with me. Super kind of you!
Farewell to Palmer’s Bar! Thank you for offering me a stage right when I needed it.💋
