ok. Just watched this live..and I have some thoughts..It's always so interesting to hear an artists perspective on music in general. I am a fan of many genres, Including Pop Music. To me, I think the Vocals of an artist are first and foremost. It is the true Vocalist that can transcend Genres. When a song comes on the radio or a playlist on the various music streaming services, the FIRST thing that I tend to notice are the Vocals. Is the voice Unique, Is it interesting, what is the tone. Are they memorable? Voices like Stevie Nicks, Cher, Belinda Carlisle, Prince, George Michael, Tracy Chapman, Lady Gaga, Annie Lennox are examples of artists I would instantly recognize when I hear their voice. No One sounds like them. To me, that is what makes YOU, Sierra, so Original. Your Vocals cut through. I can hear it and recognize it in ANY Genre. I do like music stylings and instrumentation, But I personally do not want it to Overshadow the artists' Vocals. Just my personal opinion. As always Peace and Love
